KMAA's kids programs represent an innovative approach to martial arts tuition for children. Our Instructors engage, educate and motivate students to be the best that they can be. Our class content is regularly varied to hold the attention and interest of our youngest students.
PANDAS CLASSES (AGE 3-4)
Duration: 30 minutes
Pandas are KMAA's youngest martial artists.
Pandas classes are energetic, fun and engaging!
We offer four exclusive Pandas classes per week in which students will take part in activities designed to promote motor skill development, balancing, coordination, socialisation, listening and focus.
KMAA's Pandas Instructors teach basic martial arts kicks, deflections and self defence. Our Pandas classes are an ideal way to prepare your youngest for the exciting time of preschool- we ask the students to sit straight on their square, listen to their Instructor and follow basic instructions.
Parents can watch their little ones develop and grow or they can join in with KMAA's very popular Family classes.
"I was struggling to find something for my three year old to do - Martial Arts classes have been fantastic! He's learning how to listen to instructions, focus on a task all whilst learning with children his own age. He loves it and I love watching him learn and grow!"
TIGERS CLASSES (AGE 5-7)
DRAGONS CLASSES (AGE 8-11)
Duration: 45 minutes
Our Dragons classes engage 8-11 year old students by encouraging and inspiring them to try their hardest.
Students in the Dragons program endeavour to kick the highest, jump the furthest, and strive to achieve their best.
The belt progression in the Dragons program aims to build students' dedication and commitment to an activity, working towards a goal, then working hard and persevering to achieve it.
Students in the Dragons classes learn kicking, blocking, self defence and basic weaponry techniques in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
Dragons will not only learn a wide range of martial arts techniques but will also develop life skills by building their respect, self-confidence, focus, fitness and self-discipline in each dynamic class.
We recommend that students in the Dragons program train twice per week, if their schedule allows, for retention and more timely progression through our syllabus. Contact us for more information.
"I find that KMAA has really thought about their programs. The fact that they have specialised classes for each age group and belt level is great. My daughter's self-confidence has truly improved and she aspires to be like her Instructors. The children in her class are lovely and they are all learning and developing together. It's a lovely environment to be in."
